Each of Concordia University’s degree completion programs provides a unique learning format to complement the skills of working professionals. Classes are kept small, allowing students to share experiences and develop their professional network with new colleagues.

Criteria and Procedure

While each file is reviewed on an individual basis, applicants must meet the following criteria per program to be considered for admission:

Health Care Administration – On campus (one night per week) or online

  • 20 transferable, semester credits, including college-level math and writing.
  • Two years’ work experience or three years post-high school graduation (GED included)
  • Admission Steps: Application, résumé, and official college transcripts

Long-Term Care Administration – On campus, cohort model (one night per week)

  • 20 transferable, semester credits, including college-level math and writing. (If you have less than the required credits, contact your Transfer Coordinator to learn more about our Pre-HCA option.)
  • Two years’ work experience or three years post-high school graduation (GED included)
  • Admission Steps: Application, résumé, and official college transcripts

Social Work – On campus, three-hour block courses (afternoon and evening)

Early Childhood Education (non-licensure) – Online

Homeland Security and Emergency Management – Online, 8-week courses

Concordia University has a rolling admission process. However, it is strongly recommended that you begin the application process six to eight weeks before the semester you’re looking to join begins.
