Academic Scholarships for International Students with AA Degree from a U.S. Community College

International Transfer Students who have a full year of transferable course work with a 2.75 GPA are eligible for the same awards as our domestic transfer students. Transfer students with less than a full year of transferable credits will need to submit their college and secondary school transcripts along with test scores (TOEF, IELTS, SAT, ACT). The student will then be evaluated to determine which award category they best fit into: transfer or first-year student.

Financial Aid

Most aid programs are restricted to students who are citizens or nationals of the United States, certain residents of the Pacific Islands, permanent residents of the United States, or students in the United States for other than a temporary purpose with the intention of becoming permanent residents. All non-citizens of the U.S. must provide appropriate documentation from the Immigration and Naturalization Service before receiving aid.

International students are responsible for the tuition and fees associated with the degree or certification in which they are enrolled. You may find information about financial aid opportunities at www.iefa.org.

If you need additional help or have questions about the financial aid process, please email or call us at +1 503-280-8514 (outside of the United States) or 1-800-321-9371 (toll-free within the United States).
